Customised Crafty Biz Marketing Plan
Do you want to grow your online craft business, but don’t know how to go about it?
Is the thought of marketing your biz a little scary and overwhelming?
I can help make it a lot easier, simpler, and more effective.
I was approached to provide this very service by an online friend. She saw the success I was having with my own craft businesses, and asked me if I would be willing to do a long-term marketing plan for her.
What an idea! It wasn’t something I’d ever thought of doing before, but as soon as she asked, a zillion ideas and suggestions started zooming around in my head. I realised that I had all the knowledge to do a custom marketing plan for her, and said yes.
It got me to thinking… maybe there were other people out there who had the same need?
The need for a solid, detailed, long-term marketing plan that fitted their biz.
So – I decided to offer my services, and here we are.
However, I am an uber-busy woman, so I’m afraid that I need to limit myself to taking only 2 marketing clients per month.
That’s it.
If you would like to work with me, please get in touch asap (jessvanden AT epherielldesigns.com), and I can let you know when my next available spot is.
So, what do I get?
First, I’ll chat to you via e-mail and work out the answers to a number of questions, including:
- What’s your monthly ad budget?
- How much time per day/week are you prepared to spend on marketing activities?
- What venues do you sell on?
- Where do you sell your work offline – and which would you prefer to increase, offline or online sales (this will help me target my info, though I know a lot more about online marketing).
- How much time are you willing to devote to blogging?
Using that information, I’ll put together a plan specific to your business, that includes:
- a monthly breakdown of how you should use your marketing budget each month for 6 months
- a specific timeline, telling you who to approach for PR purposes, and when
- a list of some suggested blogs/publications that fit your product (your target market)
- an example of the text and other info you should send the people you pitch to
- a basic social media plan – covering twitter and facebook, including examples of the posts/tweets you should use, and a breakdown of frequency
- a brief blogging plan if you indicated that blogging will be a part of your marketing strategy
- advice as to other free places to get seen (I have a few ‘secret weapons’ that I don’t talk about)
So – what does it cost?
I will be booking my first 4 clients in for this service at a cost of $250 AUD.
I will not take concrete bookings at that price past that point, because I may find that I need to charge more to do a truly thorough job.
However, I will certainly reserve a spot for you past my first 4 clients if you are happy with the fact that the price may change – and I will, of course, give you the option to say no if I choose to increase my price past what you are capable of paying.
I’m an indie business person, just like you – I know how careful we have to be with our money!
Also, I’m going to be honest with you. If I think your shop needs more work before it’s ready to be marketed, I’ll tell you, and point you towards some useful resources, to boot!
