Tomorrow, I will be launching my new jewellery line – Vintette.
I have learnt a lot about marketing since I started selling jewellery under the Epheriell brand a few years back now.
This time, it’s a totally different game. Vintette has been planned and styled from the beginning, utilising all the lessons I have painstakingly learnt from Epheriell – from photos to descriptions – pricing, tagging, organising stock, building a buzz…
I have worked hard prior to the launch to fill up the shops, so there is plenty to entice people in, though I will be adding new designs all this week, too.
And I realised that there might be others out there who would benefit from watching how I do it! I’m sure there are folks out there with much more experience than me who would do a totally killer launch, but if my process helps you with your own product, I’ll be a happy lady.
So – if you’d like to watch what I do, here’s a breakdown:
- If you’re not already, you’ll want to subscribe to my Epheriell Designs mailing list before tomorrow morning Australian time.
- You’ll need to keep an eye on my main blog – Epheriell Designs – and the Vintette facebook fan page.
- You’ll need to follow me on twitter, and keep an eye on my tweets.
I will be using all of these avenues (and more) to coordinate the launch. Also, you may see Vintette pop up on a few blogs around the place. I have contacted a very small number of blogging friends and given them the details of the launch, and if it fits with their audiences, I’m hoping they’ll talk about it. (Just a note – when you launch, don’t contact every single blog you can think of with the info – just choose a small number of very relevant blogs (4 or less – and preferably in different time zones!) – because bloggers won’t be happy if they post the same thing as a lot of other bloggers on the same day).
